Ad Operations Manager
New York, NY
LucidMedia is seeking an online media Ad Operations Manager to join our growing team of online advertising professionals based in our New York office reporting to Director of Ad Operations. The AdOps Manager is a vital member of the Ad Operations team, providing operational support to DSP customers. The Ad Ops Manager will be responsible for creating and testing pixels, setting up campaigns, dealing with new vendors and new technologies, creating internal tools, troubleshooting and being a technical liaison between Product and Operations. This person possesses the ability to problem solve down to the root causes with a consistent methodology. The successful candidate is highly detail oriented, innovative, has technical aptitude, and is expected to be adaptive and a quick learner and truly interested in knowing how things work. He/she performs many tactical tasks effectively and with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities:
- Ad Ops core functions include: prelaunch set up & readiness -
pixel creation, pixel testing and verification, creative QA and
uploading, campaign set up, trafficking, troubleshooting ad issues and
reporting
- Work with third-party servers to troubleshoot creative tags according to ad specs
- Support all campaigns when technical issues arise – apply consistent methods to problem solve in a timely manner
- Collaboration with Account Managers and Yield Optimization Managers to ensure campaigns are set up for success
- Support Product & Engineering on special projects
- Support Marketing on house ad campaigns
- Interface with partners to ensure compliance
- Provide platform feedback to Product on usability features
- Provide excellent customer service for our internal teams, clients and partners
Requirements / Skills:
- Strong experience in Internet technologies including HTML, Flash, Javascript, 3rd Party Ad Servers (e.g. Atlas, DART, e.t.c), and other internet-/networking-related protocols as they relate to the advertising creative, delivery and processes.
- Strong technical understanding of the online advertising delivery systems and tools. Display experience a must, social and video experience a plus.
- Hands-on experience with ad trafficking, de-bugging, data collection, online advertising site structures, and data collection
- Bachelor's degree required (preferably in computer science, engineering, or related)
- Proven problem solving skills with the ability to break down issues systematically and identify root causes
- Strong communication skills, an aptitude for technology, and a self-motivated attitude are keys to job satisfaction

Yield Optimization Manager

Account Manager

LucidMedia is seeking an experienced online media Account Manager to
join our growing team of online advertising professionals based out of
our headquarters office in Reston VA. As an Account Manager, you will
work with Regional Sales Leads to understand and take full ownership
over the strategy, management, and execution of performance driven
campaigns to ensure success and drive renewals. This person is
attentive to detail and can efficiently organize the many moving parts
to ensure a smooth and successful campaign, while staying focused on
growing relationships. The Account Manager leads ongoing communication
with clients before, during and after campaigns to ensure high levels of
customer service. Reports to the VP of Client Services.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the lead for all aspects of campaign management including
pre-campaign workflow, implementation, management and post campaign
analysis.
- Understand client objectives and success metrics as a basis in developing a robust media plan and proper campaign set up.
- Facilitate communication between the client and/or agency teams to
ensure that all campaign assets are received on time prior to launch;
coordinate the execution of any applicable 3rd party elements (i.e.,
brand studies, rich media, etc).
- Communicate internally to Optimization, Ad Ops and Sales team on
campaign performance and develop strategies for increased performance as
needed.
- Monitor campaign performance and provide proactive, hands-on
account management throughout the entire life cycle – includes:
analyzing delivery and performance through various reporting tools,
collaboration with other members of the Operations team to troubleshoot
issues and find solutions, and proactively communicate with Sales and
clients in an effort to manage expectations.
- Develop performance insights to support ongoing client discussions and elicit renewal or incremental business.
- Serve as an expert on all aspects of the LucidMedia platform and processes.
- Work with Product and Engineering teams to provide feedback on improvements to our ad systems and client offerings.
Requirements / Skills:
- Bachelors Degree required
- 2-5 years experience in the online display media industry in a
client-facing role. Experience working in an ad network or interactive
agency environment preferred
- Possesses strong leadership and organizational skills as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Detail oriented and diligent work ethic with excellent project/time
management skills aiding in balancing multiple projects with tight
deadlines
- Desire to analyze, troubleshoot and find solutions to improve campaign performance and/or internal processes
