Ajay Sravanapudi - Founder, President & CEO
Mr. Sravanapudi is an interactive media veteran with a deep understanding of the display advertising industry. As the business and technology driving force behind the LucidMedia Network and the patented ClickSense platform, Ajay has spent the last three years transforming the company from its roots in enterprise knowledge management to a leading player in the online advertising space. Initially focused on solving various targeting challenges that faced advertisers and publishers, Ajay pioneered the creation of a revolutionary new network of interactive display advertising inventory that is now leveraged by the industry to lift online revenue and increase return on ad spend. The result is a new network that provides a level of brand safety, quality control and impression level transparency that had always eluded the display advertising industry. Ajay divides his time equally between corporate headquarters in the Washington metropolitan area and New York City where he is deeply involved at all levels in the display ad industry. Ajay was the founding CTO of LucidMedia and held that role until February 2007. Previously, he was the Vice President of Product Architecture at Versatility where he led the development of large scale call centers and enterprise CRM software. Ajay has held high-level technology positions at American Management Systems and OMC Computers Ltd. He received a M.S. in Information Management from Penn State University in 1990 and a B.S. from IIT Madras in 1987.
Paul Rostkowski, Vice-President of Sales
Mr. Rostkowski joined LucidMedia from Healthline, the health and wellness vertical portal, and brings with him a track record of successful growth and revenue generation. Paul is responsible for the company's revenue and is a critical component of the company's business model as the contextual hyper-targeting solution of choice among ad exchanges and publisher optimizers. Before Healthline, Paul served as Hoover's Vice President of Advertising responsible for their advertising sales strategy, development, and implementation. In this role Paul managed the Ad Sales team and oversaw the Ad Operations group driving nearly 300% growth during his tenure there. Prior to joining Hoover's, Paul was Vice President of Sales, Eastern Region at Winstar Interactive Media based in New York City. While at Winstar Interactive Paul directed the sales team to record interactive ad revenue growth and managed agency relations. Prior to that Paul spent several years consulting on competitive and marketing intelligence issues for major branded Pharmaceutical companies.
Abderrezak Kamel, Chief Technology Officer (CTO)
Mr. Kamel came to LucidMedia from Autonomy and is Chief Technology Officer (CTO) bringing over a decade of experience in Information Retrieval and Natural Language Processing. Abderrezak oversees the technology roadmap and is responsible for the robustness and relevance of the ClickSense contextual advertising platform. Prior to Verity, Abderrezak was the Chief Architect and Director of Advanced Product Development at LucidMedia, then Entrieva, which he joined through its acquisition of the Semio Corporation in 2002. Abderrezak was a charter member of Semio's founding team and was the principal architect of the Semio product line since its inception in 1996. Previously Abderrezak was a PhD student in Computational Semiotics at Leonardo da Vinci University, Paris, France and completed his MS equivalent in Artificial Intelligence at the University of Montpellier, France in 1994. Abderrezak received his State Software Engineering degree from the USTHB University of Algiers in 1992.
Thomas V. Ervin, Vice-President of Business Operations & CFO
Mr. Ervin has served as Chief Financial Officer of LucidMedia since 2001 where he oversees all of the financial and administrative operations. As a recognized specialist in the interactive advertising operations space, Tom also oversees all cross functional inventory acquisition and revenue generation functions to ensure alignment with the company's strategic goals. Tom is responsible for collaborating with creative, production and engineering teams to develop and control the quality of LucidMedia campaigns and deliver profitability. He also serves as the Secretary of the Company. Tom previously served as Corporate Controller for Softworks, Inc (NASDAQ:SWRX), an international enterprise software company. Prior to joining Softworks, he held various positions in accounting and finance at Best Software, Inc (NASDAQ:BEST). Tom is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from West Virginia University.
Anand Natrajan, Vice-President of Engineering
Mr. Natrajan brings a long and proven track record of online, interactive technology and product development to LucidMedia. He is responsible for the ongoing development of LucidMedia's flagship product, ClickSense, as well as other products and tools that make up the LucidMedia Network. Anand has worked for more than a decade in various stages of the software development cycle. Prior to joining LucidMedia, Anand led the development of a fast, faceted, fielded and full-text search technology, DiscoveryEngine, at IntelligenX Inc. Before that, he worked as a senior engineer as well as consultant at Avaki, Inc. developing and deploying distributed compute and data grids. Anand received his Master's and PhD degrees in Computer Science from the University of Virginia, and his Bachelor's degree from the University of Bombay. He has authored over 20 peer-reviewed publications in fields ranging from simulation to distributed computing.
Sachin Devand, Vice-President of Technology
Mr. Devand brings many years of online, interactive, large-scale internet technology design and developments expertise to LucidMedia. Sachin leverages his extensive experience in the display advertising business, specifically in ad operations, to ensure campaigns are effective and exceed industry guidelines and best practices. Sachin's responsibilities include all customer implementations and technical operations at LucidMedia. As Vice President of Technology he is responsible for client relationship management from close of contract through fulfillment of campaign and business renewal. Sachin oversees implementation of advertising solutions and execution of campaigns for all of LucidMedia's customers as well as provides tactical Product Management for business development and engineering. Sachin has extensive experience in building large-scale reliable, distributed, high-performance computing platforms. He was integral to the design and development of ClickSense, the company's flagship product, since he joined the company in 2004. Prior to LucidMedia, Sachin worked in product development and successfully led customer implementations at a local Yellow-Page search company. Sachin received his Masters of Science (MS) in Computer Science from George Mason University and Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Science from IIT
Bombay.
