Right Media and LucidMedia have entered into an agreement to establish standard categories that publishers and advertisers can use today to target ads more effectively and maximize yield from their inventory.
Right Media, through an agreement with LucidMedia, has established 63 standard categories that publishers and advertisers can use today to target ads more effectively and maximize yield from their inventory. This contextual technology is provided by LucidMedia. Together we have introduced highly targeted contextual display advertising across the Right Media Exchange; the Internet's largest advertising exchange. This agreement enables buyers and sellers on the Exchange, for the first time, to contextually categorize their display advertising inventory based on more than 60 vertically focused channels.
Our patented contextual platform, called ClickSense, evaluates the content of each web page for known phrases and then uses complex rules and a rich semantic library to determine the actual meaning of the page. We do not rely on self-declared categories, metadata, or "word spotting" as many other providers do. LucidMedia determines the meaning of web pages and then provides highly accurate categorization. For more information on the Right Media Exchange please visit their website at www.rightmedia.com. Already On Right Media?

LucidMedia's ad tags are distributed to your publishers instead of YieldManager tags. Please refer to Right Media's Knowledgebase for Standard Contextual targeting categories. Refer to the following Right Media Knowledgebase article:
